Systems until 50°
This “nailed” type of reinforced earth structure sees covering components (e.g. armour stone) fitted flush to a load-bearing substructure.
Areas of application (selection):
- Restoration further to embankment slips adjacent to bodies of water
- Embankment stabilisation adjacent to running and standing waterCLAMP Vorheriges Bild Nächstes Bild CLAMP
CLAMP is a reinforced earth structure for steep reinforced slopes with gradients of up to 50°. Its layered Secugrid® reinforcement is supplemented by additional erosion control elements.
The system consists of vertical Secugrid® primary reinforcement (which follows the direction of slope dip) and an erosion control layer (which follows the slope fall line). The reinforcement is filled with topsoil, which in turn can be hydroseeded where required. The CLAMP system can be used to stabilise slopes on a temporary or permanent basis, exhibits a high degree of adaptability to project-specific structural and geometric requirements and represents a cost-effective, semi-natural solution.
Areas of application:
- Restoration further to embankment slips
- Embankment reinforcement
